Social Network Developer in Atlanta

By Derek Peacock

To develop a social network you’ll need a lot of different resources. The first resource is the database and platform depending on what is needed for the scrip. Currently, most of the platforms I see companies using are Joomla, WordPress and Clipshare. We use Clipshare for www.myrapaudition.com, which is a youtube clone. There are a lot of others. Also know that if you buy a platform you’ll need to do a lot of work to get it ready.

First, you’ll need to start out with a concept for the site. We target urban music content that allows video upload from the computer and embedding using both embed tags and iframes. This platform works great for videos sharing site, both commercial and adult videos sites.

I would suggest to develop the sign up page feature all on one page. I don’t recommend using the Facebook sign up or register features. I have found its is really buggy and gets confusing depending on what browser the visitor is using. I recommend have the member only have to input five fields.

Now its time to think about the usability and custom interactivity basic on what the community wants to interact with the content. We use social plug ins, site activity features, and working on developing our own version of Facebook like feature, but gear to the urban market. We have some ideas already, just need more resources to make this happen. Also, a rating, comment, and sharing features.

Once all programing is develop the next steps are built in analytics, many seo landing pages and seeding the site with content. During this feature all social media marketing functions needs to be develop. Facebook has taken out a lot of cool tricks so I recommend using rss feeds and twitter to inform other social networking sites about new content on your social networking site.

Hope this helps with your social networking development.

If you would need any consulting my fee is $100hr four hour bill is the minimum.

Twitter for Business Use

Using Twitter for Business Use

By Derek Peacock

How do businesses use Twitter, Internet Advertising, and QR code to generate new leads?

Twitter makes updating and managing media content across social networking sites easy. I am going to give in a nutshell how use twitter for business use that will save money on both Google adwords and Advertise on Facebook, use qr code correctly and give mobile app users an easier way to stay connect with the business.

Understand just embedding a web address into a QR code isn’t enough. A QR code should be interactive and have a direct media message. My suggestion is directing the QR code to a business mobile app.

Twitter gets the message out to social networking site. In the shortcode a tiny urls displays a link. The web address direct user to a web page recognizing what the platform the user is using. Next the interaction begins between the user and the business. My suggestion is to direct the visitor to download the company mobile app.

Both Google adwords allows an image display. Use the QR code directing visitor to access mobile app device. This will also save money because the visitor isn’t clicking the link. This also works with and advertising means.
